The campaign has $4.5 million in cash-on-hand heading into summer
ST. PAUL, MN — Today, June 14, the Walz-Flanagan campaign announced that it has raised approximately $1.8 million since January 1 and has $4.5 million cash on hand. During this period, about 81% of all contributions were $50 or less – a sign of the campaign’s grassroots support and DFL mobilization around reproductive rights and Roe v. Wade. 86% of donations have come from Minnesotans.
The $4.5 million cash-on-hand figure is a record for any Minnesota gubernatorial campaign at this point in the election cycle.
“With Roe v. Wade on borrowed time, our supporters are mobilizing to defend reproductive rights in Minnesota,” said Nichole Johnson, campaign manager for the Walz-Flanagan campaign. “Minnesotans know that Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan will always defend reproductive rights from anti-choice extremists. Thanks to their support, our campaign will have the resources we need to compete in every corner of the state and to highlight the Walz-Flanagan vision for moving Minnesota forward on education, public safety, and economic opportunity.”
Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan are running for re-election to ensure that every family has the opportunity to succeed and to keep Minnesota moving forward.
