The campaign’s first ad is airing today, highlighting a robust list of accomplishments including affordable insulin, record low unemployment, helping working families, and keeping Minnesotans safe during the pandemic
St.Paul, MN — Today, July 20, the Walz-Flanagan campaign released its first TV ad of their 2022 cycle, “Tough.” The 60-second TV ad is airing today in the Minneapolis media market with a six-figure buy.
“Tough”, the first television ad in the 2022 Governor’s race, points to a robust list of Gov. Walz’s accomplishments, including passing affordable insulin legislation, record low unemployment, passing the largest middle class tax cuts in 20 years, and Gov. Walz’s leadership during the pandemic to keep Minnesota safe.
The ad goes on to highlight Gov. Walz’s vision for moving Minnesota forward by fully funding public schools and providing working families with direct $2,000 checks to help address rising prices.
“Governor Walz has rallied Minnesota to overcome unprecedented challenges. He led an effective COVID response that saved lives and has left Minnesota with the lowest unemployment rate on record,” said Nichole Johnson, Walz-Flanagan campaign manager. “We can trust Governor Walz to support our public schools, keep us safe, and protect a woman’s right to choose. To keep Minnesota moving forward, we need Governor Walz to keep working for us.”
Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan are running for re-election to ensure that every family has the opportunity to succeed and to keep Minnesota moving forward.
